Mike Braxton
Mike Braxton’s original style of Aikido was Chishin Ryu Heiho Aikibudo which he studied for 2 years under Hamada Sensei from Kyoto, Japan. After taking a considerable break from Aikido for there was nobody teaching that style in the Northern Virginia area; Mike stumbled across the Dale City Aikikai. Mike practices at the Aikikai Honbu dojo daily whenever he is in Tokyo, Japan. He brings the knowledge of the Japanese language and culture to the dojo. Mike is forever on a quest to find, study, and apply the aiki of the old ways.
